THE ROLE

Here at GroupM, the Inclusive Insights & Analytics team is a specialty group that integrates data + culture + marketing strategy. We’re looking for a dynamic data driven Sr. Analyst to join energetic marketing consultants focusing on analytics and strategy. Working across the GroupM portfolio of agencies, we take a data first approach in identifying and quantifying the impact growth segments (i.e., Hispanic, African American/Black, Asian and LGBTQ+) have on our client’s business. As a data agnostic marketer, you will utilize a variety of data sources (proprietary and secondary) to tell compelling, multi-dimensional stories of who consumers are, how best to reach them, and how clients can relevantly engage with them to grow their business. YOUR IMPACT

  • Well versed on qualitative and quantitative research tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with a variety of data sources needed to generate strong consumer insights (MRI/ Simmons, IRI Nielsen Data, Mintel, YouGov, NPD, Brand Health Metrics, etc.)
  • Will manage multiple projects/ assignments independently from start to completion.
  • Provide support in client account management and special projects.
  • Interface with key internal stakeholders & vendors and advocate on behalf of team.
  • Bring new ideas and creative solutions to challenges.
  • Strong awareness of cultural shifts trends and how they impact business.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educational and/or ample professional experiences within the Media/Marketing Research, Analytics, Marketing/Data Strategy space.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (very strong in Excel) and data visualization (Tableau, Power BI etc.)
  • Capable of building data driven presentations independently (i.e. PowerPoint)
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and cohesive narratives.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and willingness to step out of your comfort zone.
  • Equally successful working independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be reliable and proactive. 
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dashboard building and reporting capabilities preferred.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $100,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
